TXF Global 2024: New ways to attract and fund foreign investments in Kazakhstan
The largest international event for export and trade finance, “Global 2024: Export, Project & Development Finance,” took place in Athens. During this event, National Management Holding Baiterek and Export Credit Agency of Kazakhstan held a number of joint meetings with the world’s leading financial institutions, which showed an active interest in financing projects in our region.
Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Export Credit Agency of Kazakhstan, Ayan Bektybayeva, moderated the round table “The Peloponnese: Regional Workshops” on Central Asia. The round table provided a detailed overview of potential areas of cooperation and the tools available to support businesses investing in Kazakhstan. A Q&A session was also held for all interested investors.
In addition to the round table, the delegation of the National Management Holding Baiterek and the Export Credit Agency of Kazakhstan held meetings with key players in the financial sector and export financing, including J.P. Morgan Bank, Exim, KUKE, AKA Bank, Helaba Bank, CITI, ATIDI, UK Export Finance, ING Bank, Euler Hermes, Société Générale, Oddo-BHF Bank, DZ Bank, BGK Bank, representatives of OECD and Standard Chartered.
These meetings, held with the participation of Baiterek Holding, a key institution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, provided foreign experts with an opportunity to gain reliable and insightful information about the Kazakh market, its high economic potential, and potential areas of cooperation in the region.
